He was born in Ankara in 1977. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education at TED Ankara College. He graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2000. He completed his specialty training at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery and received the title of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist in 2008.
He completed his compulsory service at Ankara Training and Research Hospital 2nd Plastic Surgery Clinic between 2008-2011. He completed his military service as a Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Specialist at Van Military Hospital between 2009 and 2010.
He started working as a specialist doctor at Ankara University, Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2011, and was appointed as an assistant professor in 2013. In 2014, he was an observer at Asan Medical Center, Plastic Surgery Clinic, Seoul, South Korea.
He received the title of associate professor in 2016. In the same year, he completed the Clinical Anatomy Doctorate program, which he started at Ankara University, Institute of Health Sciences, Department of Anatomy, and received the title of doctor of science. In 2017, he completed the Microsurgery Fellowship program at the Plastic Surgery Clinic of China Medical University Hospital, Taichung, Taiwan, under the direction of Professor Hung-Chi Chen.
He was appointed as a professor in the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery in 2023, and in the same year he started to serve as the Head of the Department of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara University. In addition to the Head of the Department, he took on administrative duties such as Assistant Professor Representative, Associate Professor Representative on the Board of Directors of Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Clinical Anatomy Research and Simulation Center Executive Board Member, Post-Graduate Education and Coordination Board Member, Surgical Medical Sciences Medical Specialization Education Accreditation Coordinator and Ankara University Medical Design Application and Research Center Deputy Director.
He left his job at Ankara University in 2025 and started to continue his professional work in his own practice.
He is a member of the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association and served as a member of the board of directors of this association between 2018-2021. He is also a member of the Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Association and serves as a board member. He is among the active members of the Reconstructive Microsurgery Association and the Emergency Hand Surgery and Microsurgery Association.
He has the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Competence Certificate and the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery (EBOBRAS) Competency Certificate.
